Used a zip lock bag, boiled the water to the appropriate temperature (checking with meat thermometer) and then left it low heat, checking once in a while to turn on the heat again if necessary.
1) I used an "everyday" seasoning mix instead of onion and garlic powder because I didn't have any
2) After I finished the sous vide part, I put the whole bag in the fridge overnight and the next day I let it get to room temp before pan searing it
